Aerodynamics

 Today I was learning about aerodynamics and how they affect objects in the air.

In order to complete the work we had to ready a document about the subject, after that we had to watch some videos on how it helps planes fly and keep rockets stable.

What I think I did well:I think after I figured out how to use the site instead of making a basic triangle I merged some to make the fins look more like rocket fins.

What I think I need to work on:I need to ask more if I do get stuck so i'm mot just sitting there not k nowing what to do.

Next time I need to remember to size the fins correctly as te first print cam out tiny so they would have no effect on the rocket; In order to achive this I need to have a look at the grid and mae sure they will be sized corectly.

How did I feel about the task:I found it fun as I finally got to actually use the 3d printer.

Overall I liked the task and I hope we continue to do more things like this.

Newtons 3rd Law

 Today we learnet about Newtons 3rd law and what it means.

His 3rd law states that every action has an equal and opposite reaction. With rockets the thrust factor(the burning stuff coming out the bottom) is the action and the reaction is the rocket moving.

I made a scratch project about his law; It works by clicking on the rocket then some audio will play explaining it.

DIfferent Types Of Clouds

 Today we had to make a thing on scratch about the different types of clouds.

I found the start challenging as I was away yestoday so I had more to do than the others. After a little bit I found all the code I needed and I was on my way.

If I was to do it again I would ask around for where the coding things were so I could get on with the task faster.

I enjoyed finally finishing the task as now I have am guaranteed to go to lunch.

Mine works by clicking on the clouds and then it will display some info and the height range the clouds form at. There is also some info about what the clouds mean.

    

SImplifying Algebra

Today I was learning about simplifying like terms in algebra. At the start I found this hard as I didn’t recognise the technique to the maths but in the end I ended up finding it pretty easy.

My next steps are trying to do more of the work in my head so I don’t need space to do one question.
