Flexagon

Today for spec 1&2 we made a thing called a flexagon. A flexagon is a piece of origami designed to rotate an infinite amount of times within itself.

I found that after some usage the corner folds begin to rip and tear but that is to be expected with any origami.

In the end the flexagon was a pretty fun toy and work well as a desk toy.

Aesop

Friday 16th August we talked about Aesop, the writer in 620 – 564 BC who wrote short fables with a moral that means something probably really important.
One of his fables is called the lion and the mouse where the moral is kindness is never wasted; here is that story about a lion and a mouse.

In the story the mouse is trapped under the lions paw and the mouse is screaming to get out, the mouse says to spare him and he will surely repay him.
Later in the story the lion is caught in a poachers net and roars shaking the entire jungle, the mouse hears the roar and rushes to help him. The mouse aggressively chews through the net setting the lion free.

The Game Of Awesome

5.10.19
Yesterday the whole class played the game of awesome. Now you might be wondering what the game of awesome is and how it's played.

The game of awesome is played where you have a master and players,The master gives the players four idea cards each, the players all look at their cards and then the master puts down an awesome card.
The idea cards have things on them like fart gun, jumping into an volcano, the relief teacher or an evil scientist, while the awesome card will have something on it like embarrass, evil, daredevil or soldier.
The master picks an awesome card and the players have to pick one of their cards the will best match up with the card(eg:jumping into an volcano will best go with daredevil.)
Once all the players have put down their card the master will pick the best. You keep playing until there are four four pairs on the table.
When there is four cards on the table the players will have to write a story including all the cards on the table.
Once everybody is done he master will pick the best story then the winner will become master.

When we played with the class we writ our story, typed it onto a google document and then edited it.
Here is my story and edited version.
